It's been a difficult year for me. I admit that I struggled with my mental and physical health and with poverty in 2024.
But it's a new year, a new day, and I'm on the mend.
My Čuwé (older Sister) and Miwákáŋyéja (nibling) funded refilling my prescription for my mental health meds in November and I already have five drafts in the pipeline as a result.
First up is a piece on the unprecedented advances for NDN country in the United States during the Biden administration for The Big Picture and a piece on Indigenous American foods.
Ómakȟa Tȟéča Oíyokiphi—Ohserá:se—a Happy New Year! My wish for you all:

Philámayaye, Niawen'kó:wa (Thank you in Lakȟótiyapi and Kanien'kéha) for your support, kind words, and encouragement this past year.
