Lately, I’ve been thinking about something.
Not because someone asked me.
But honestly because I’ve been asking myself.
How do I show all the different parts of who I am without confusing people?
Some people know me as the travel girl.
Others know me as the model.
Some know me because of my nonprofit.
Others only know me from social media.
Some have no idea I coach women.
Some don’t know I’ve spent years learning about investing and trading.
Some don’t know I’m building a swimwear brand.
Or that I write poetry.
Or that I speak three languages.
Or that one of my favorite places in the world is sitting on my grandparents’ couch listening to their stories.
For a while, I thought I had to choose.
Not because I wanted to.
Because that’s what the world rewards.
Pick a niche.
Stay in your lane.
Build one brand.
Don’t confuse people.
The more I built, the more I felt this quiet pressure to simplify myself into something easier to explain.
But here’s the problem.
Real people aren’t one-dimensional.
We’re daughters.
Friends.
Founders.
Believers.
Artists.
Students.
Travelers.
Dreamers.
We’re allowed to evolve.
Somehow we’ve accepted that companies can have multiple departments.
But women?
Apparently we’re expected to have one personality.
I don’t believe that anymore.
When I travel, I’m curious.
When I build my nonprofit, I’m compassionate.
When I’m working on my businesses, I’m strategic.
When I’m writing, I’m reflective.
When I’m with my family, I’m soft.
When I’m mentoring women, I’m intentional.
Those aren’t different versions of me.
They’re different expressions of the same woman.
For a long time, I worried people would get confused.
Then one day, I realized something.
The women who are meant to find me don’t need a simpler version of me.
They need permission to become a fuller version of themselves.
Because maybe she’s sitting there believing she has to choose too.
Maybe she loves fashion...
and finance.
Maybe she wants to build a business...
and become an incredible mother.
Maybe she loves luxury...
and wants to dedicate her life to serving others.
Maybe she wants to be deeply feminine...
without apologizing for being wildly ambitious.
Who decided those things couldn’t exist in the same woman?
They can.
I don’t have to hide my nonprofit because people know me for bikinis.
I don’t have to hide my love for beauty because I also care deeply about philanthropy.
I don’t have to choose between elegance and impact.
I don’t have to hide my ambition because I’m feminine.
I don’t have to make myself smaller so someone else can understand me faster.
That isn’t my responsibility.
My responsibility is to become the fullest version of the woman God created me to be.
And trust that the right people will recognize her.
The older I get, the more I realize success isn’t becoming one extraordinary thing.
It’s allowing every gift God placed inside of you to have room to breathe.
Maybe becoming isn’t about discovering who you are.
Maybe it’s about finally giving every part of yourself permission to exist.
God didn’t create you one-dimensional.
Why spend your life pretending to be?
Reflection
What part of yourself have you been hiding because you thought it would make you easier for other people to understand?
