The past few weeks have been full steam ahead for our team. We’ve produced two major weddings (that we cannot wait to share!), one of which was absolutely saturated with warm sunny tones, layered patterns, and vibrant color. We even hosted an epic “recovery party” the following Sunday, inspired by bold citrus stripes and a healthy dose of summer optimism.
That celebration, coupled with last week’s East Coast heat wave, has me fully in a summer state of mind, which inspired this sun-kissed mood board.
The grounding square for me has to be #3. Rothko has long been a source of inspiration, both as an art history lover and a bit of a color theory nerd. I’m constantly looking to his work when developing palettes, whether for an event, a table, or even a room. The way he pairs colors continues to feel endlessly relevant. And if you love design as much as I do and aren’t already following @dailyrothko on IG, consider this your sign.
I hope your summer is off to a beautiful start. Scroll down to dive in!
