Of all the viciously undemocratic things this administration has done, their comeuppance has never seemed more immediate and targeted that what happened over the weekend.
Much of it took place on our National Mall, the rightful place for a celebration bearing the weight of our 250th Anniversary, our Sesquicentennial. That’s a long time for a democracy to survive, and we are among the oldest in the world, made up of people from all over the world.
Our President and administration were not able to give us that. But what do you know? As if some deep vibrational current in the atmosphere recoiled at this insult, Mother Nature herself joined Karma to deliver a cosmic illustration of our truth.
Thousands of MAGA supporters ran for their lives and took refuge in the National African American Museum which they might have repulsed under other circumstances.
The weather in DC on Independence Day was almost unbearable due to increasing climate change, which the administration refuses to address. Then as if to show who has real power, it got so dangerous that members of MAGA were forced to TAKE REFUGE in THE NATIONAL MUSEUM OF AFRICAN AMERICAN HISTORY and CULTURE!
