As we’re gearing up for the MythFall 2 launch in September, I get to share some of the beautiful art we produced for this book!
Today will be a sneak peak at the variant cover by Marguerite Sauvage. I’m a fan Marguerite’s gorgeous and distinct style. I love the way all the characters pop with bright, saturated colors, but the cover still feels inviting and soft.
Prince Kavan is in the background and Rika is flanked by her two besties, Jimmy and Seth. They are the only surviving bodyguards from when the princess was kidnapped, and they’re trying to prevent another tragedy.
Rika is the star of this issue, but she’s grounded by the relationships that matter to her. That’s why I wanted a cover featuring her with her friends!

Our pal Mike Connell from Mad Quill Comics is launching Issue #2 of his horror comic. It’s about werewolves in the Canadian fur trade in the 1700s, and the monsters men can become in the pursuit of power.
This is an expertly written, hauntingly illustrated 30+ page full-color historical fantasy comic. I love the specificity of the setting. Issue #1 was strong and I’m eager to see where Issue #2 will bring us. The project is live on Kickstarter now in it’s final week. So if the premise sounds cool, check out here:
This weekend we packed and shipped a good chunk of the orders for the Phoenix Planetarium. Leia didn’t help with that part. But she did help by inspecting the pins for quality.
