Our October book for our Discord book club is The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune. I just finished it and wow, was it fantastic! It’s a sweet, cozy fantasy story, but the lovable characters give the conflict high stakes. It was fun to imagine the soundtrack behind the different scenes as I got to test my knowledge of some old classic songs. I also found the ending to be satisfying, which is one of the things that sets great stories apart.

More MythFall inks. YEAH! I’m so hype to share more of Allie Preswick’s gorgeous inks. These next pages are a flashback to the scene where Princess Kira is kidnapped! This event touches so many characters in the story, so it was important to get it right. We went through some late state script tweaks on this scene to really lock it in, but I’m so pleased with how they’ve come out.

An homage to the era of 10¢ floppies, The Sentinels features a combination of original characters and updated public domain heroes from the 1940s. They’re an alternative to groups like the Justice League or the Avengers. In issue #12, the series reaches its action-packed climax. Yes, it’s that time of year again. Time to dress my dogs up in ridiculous costumes. Leia is dressed as a jack-o'-lantern and Luke is a hot dog.
They had to work very hard to sit still becuase it’s trash day and the truck noises were distracting. After all, if they don’t bark at the garbage truck, then who will? However, they were very accommodating and handsomely rewarded with snacks.
