CajunCon Wrap Up & A Very MythFall Christmas

Hi there, Cici here!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. I’ve taken my sweaters out and fired up the Michael Bublé.

We had a blast at Cajon Con and managed not to get the flu, which was my biggest worry. We had so much fun at this convention meeting new people in Baton Rouge and swinging down into New Orleans for the day to see the sights.

But it hasn’t all been fun and games here at Attic Door Media! We’ve also made progress on fulfilling our open projects.

• We’ve ordered the books from Comic Impressions. They have all the files. We’re waiting on an ETA for when they will print and ship.

• We’ve place orders for the tea and candle rewards.

• Bound By Words pins and sticker sheets have arrived!

• We’ve placed the order for the Owlbear pins. The factory is manufacturing them now and we’re waiting on proofs.

• The sticker sheets have arrived! We also got in the cute sticker of Rancher Jane.

We’ll keep you looped in on the progress of these projects and they march towards completion and let you know when we start to ship.

In this scene, Rika is escorting wayward prince Kavan back through the underground city of Radih.

After the cataclysm, Zymerans survived by retreating into caves for a few hundred years. They subsisted on a diet of mushrooms, algae, and whatever they could find. Radih is a much higher tech underground city then the ones Zymerans survived in thousands of years ago, but they are still comfortable being underground. Their architecture reflects the mushrooms that kept them alive through the cataclysm decorated with the layered patterns you can see in their designs and textiles. I love how Allie has illustrated these pages and can’t wait to see her colors!

Now that the script is complete, we are putting together the art team for MythFall Interludes. We’re doing it anthology style and we have reached out to some artists we’re excited to collaborate with. Keep an eye out for future updates as we reveal the team. 👀

The hardest part about CajunCon was leaving Luke and Leia behind for the trip. They were ready to cuddle as soon as we got back home.
