Challenge #2 — Roadmap entropy
When plans stop reflecting reality
Most roadmaps don’t fail because they’re wrong. They fail because they become time capsules.
Q1 assumptions drift out of relevance by Q3, but teams keep building anyway—like following GPS directions from 2015. Only 13% of companies maintain detailed roadmaps beyond a year, and honestly, we admire their optimism.

Challenge #3 — Coordination debt
When communication becomes a full-time job
Specialization is wonderful. Specialization without shared context? That’s Coordination Debt—the tax you pay when every handoff loses a little more meaning.
Think of it like a leaky bucket. Every transition between PM to design to engineering to QA drips a little context. By the time it reaches production, you’re wondering why the bucket’s empty.
