Hello all
What a busy month it has been already, after the whirlwind of May birthday celebrations and sewing club launches, June also hit the road running with the start of our lovely clubs (fear not there is still time!) and trips galore! I have been on an adventure of a lifetime to Peru (full blog coming soon!) and saw the Summer Solstice in at my beloved Stonehenge. I sometimes just don’t know how we do it all - but we do, sometimes by the skin of our teeth, and its just wonderful!
So first up, The Bear Hug Club!
The Bear Hug Club is £20.00 per month and starts in May 2026. For four months you will receive everything (except the toy filling) to create your very own Mohair Bear, Bill and his pyjamas. He is smart and friendly and very easily completed by joining our club and breaking the project down into smaller chunks!
There is something so special about making your own bear, whether it’s to keep for yourself or gift to a loved one, watching their little faces and personalities come alive is sewing magic!
But wow, we weren’t expecting the response we did and we sold out very quickly; however we have been able to source some more mohair (like gold dust these days!) and you can join in the next cohort, if you are interested send us a message here with your email and we will pop you onto the wait list.
Next up, the website has had a spruce up!
The website has had a good old spring clean, everything streamlined into nice little sections. You could say we have done a bit or Marie Kondo folding on it!
All our clubs are under one section, all of our Love to Sew patterns are together and lots more. Do go and have a look and let us know what you think?
And finally, we launch our digital embroidery files!
This is super exciting for us, we have had our lovely Anna working like a trojan behind the scenes to get these up and running and now they’re trialed, tested and ready we couldn’t be happier! Digital files straight to your embroidery machine. Shop some of my classic designs including hanging hearts and small motifs. Available in multiple formats to suit a wide range of machines, all designed to give the hand stitched look.
And lastly I leave you with a photo of Stonehenge at the Summer solstice this past weekend. I love this incredible landmark and have always been fascinated by these stones. It was so wonderful to join for the celebrations and get so close to the stones, we are normally in wild prep for or at Glastonbury festival this time of the year so a fallow year was the perfect time to visit. Perhaps we need a whole blog dedicated to this!?
Happy Solstice and thanks for reading. Peru blog up next, i cant wait to show you what we saw and what we created!
Love Mandy x
