A little trip to Venice, Italy!

A recap on a little trip with Phil to Venice with my oldest daughter on a work trip to babysit my granddaughter Nell. Lucky us!

We were staying just outside of Venice in Treviso, but everything is so efficient in Italy, so getting a train was just a twenty minute, 4 euro ride away! and oh wow Venice was just amazing, the canals quite literally run everywhere - Venice is huge it has its own university and hospital, strange to comprehend that when your standing on a little bridge wandering from shop to shop above the water. A truly wonderful place to visit.

The weather was pleasant, incredible food, the Aperols, ice cream, and coffee flowing, the buildings beautiful, shops full of the most wonderful chocolates you have ever seen, cookery shops with the most lovely pieces - my daughter bought a beautiful butter mould, a family obsession at the moment! (
