I cannot believe we are already at the end of July. The heat is rude, the sun is showing absolutely no mercy, and every time I step outside, I feel like I’m walking straight into a preheated oven. Really makes you want to stand over a hot stove! With that said, we’ve still got to cook so budget week 17 is here and she’s coming in hot with a $58 Walmart haul for 5 incredible meals!

I swear, every time I do one of these hauls, I’m reminded that you don’t have to spend a ton to feed your people well. You just need a plan, a cart, and the willpower to walk past the snack aisle without grabbing just one more thing.

If you’re cooking for a bigger crowd, just double the recipes. On a normal week, everything makes about four servings, which is perfect for a family dinner without leftovers turning into science experiments in the fridge.

I know people see “budget meals” and assume bland, boring, or barely enough. But these dinners are packed with protein, fresh ingredients, and actual flavor. Budget does not mean sad.

If you want the full written recipes, exact grocery lists, and all the breakdowns that make your weekly planning easier, you can get access by subscribing. My whole goal is to help you save money, stress less, and feed your family without feeling overwhelmed.

Thank you for being here, for cooking with me, and for hanging out on TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram. Come cook alongside me anytime!

•Veggie Shrimp Rotini

•Jalapeño Pineapple Turkey Bowls

•Smoked Sausage Alfredo (My husband’s favorite this week)
