There are places that ask very little of you, and Ojai is one of them.
Ninety-ish minutes from Los Angeles and operating at an entirely different pace, Ojai feels made for weekends that don’t require much planning. Orange groves, books stacked outdoors, long breakfasts, afternoons that become lead into wine tastings, and evenings that ask little besides staying for one more glass.
It’s the kind of place where the agenda is simple: eat well, spend a little time outside, browse a few shops, drink some wine, and leave feeling better than when you arrived.
