So last week I talked about how we shouldn’t be making jokes about ICE as people have been getting killed and kidnapped who are law abiding citizens, who have come to this country legally. Who are not violent offenders, This week is about more of the same, except Rev decided to take issue with what another independent vtuber had said in regards to the recent ICE execution.

Now for those who don’t whether you choose to keep your heads in the sand or god knows what, Rev is a right winged vtuber who has an vtuber model of that of a young girl and self-proclaimed Christian. I say self-proclaimed because you can usually tell a Christian by their fruits, and as someone that has unfortunately been a Catholic, and has been in Christian chatrooms since the days of Myspace. (Yes. Myspace did in fact have chatrooms and were partnered with userplane. They also constantly got overrun by spammers, didn’t have a block button and a friend of mine actually had to make a third party client that had a block button.) I was often the target of harassment and hatred because I wasn’t an extremist Christian who hated gay people and actually followed Christ.

Rev says and has said a lot of questionable things. Most of which were covered by Nyara and somethings that I don’t want to touch with a ten foot pole. But again, I have dealt with so called Christians before. You can tell someone’s a phony by how they act and treat other people. I know people will and have tried to defend that behavior but that will be a hill I die on.

But like the saying goes, there is no other hatred like a Christian’s love. (I probably butchered that.) But at the same time you can’t claim to be Like Christ and be a hateful person. The two do not exist within the Law of Agape.

Now Lala tweeted out a few days ago Fuck ICE, which is a sentiment carried by many vtubers. Whether they are political or not. People have their reasons for not wanting to talk about it. Mine are my health and the fact that I don’t have a safe place to be able to as I’m not that privileged. It’s why for vtubing, I’m on a hiatus until I do have somewhere safe. And figure out what’s wrong with my heart.

Rev took issue to this because Lala has a 1950’s vtuber model. Now here’s the thing, you can like the fashion of time period and not actively share the ideals of that time period. I like the aesthetics of the 60’s and 70’s. Now, I don’t share the sentiments surrounding racism, misogyny and other issues of that time period. That being said when I was 14, I was known to be a bit more radical when it came to feminism and my dad said that if I were living in that time period I would be burning my bras with the rest of them. Those were the ideals that I had. That men and women are equal and should be equal.

Now that being said, ICE is not tamer than any law enforcement agency. You know how I know that? Back in 2013 to early 2015 I used to work for a training company that made videos for law enforcement. Said company got audited by TCOLE (Texas Commission of Law Enforcement) because our standards didn’t match there’s, that and they thought of themselves as the law and wanted to make training agencys’ lives hell, on top of their officers, and like to not tell us what their class codes changed to which made reporting officer training to them all that much harder.

For the audit I had to watch every single video that we had dating back from the 1980’s and screenshot every cop that was speaking. I watched a couple months worth of videos on how the cops were trained from use of force to active shooter so I can actually comment and say that there needs to be a hell of a lot more training, and probably more government oversight that just states keeping track of training through POST or Peace Officer Standards and Training. The same goes for ICE. Or Gestapo Light.

What Rev doesn’t get is that ICE hasn’t been around that long. It was created back in the early 2000’s because the Republicans led everyone to believe that there was this problem with illegal immigration taking our jobs and other bullshit, along with the creation of Homeland Security through the Patriot Act. It was approved by Congress. Now the thing is that immigration has never once been liked since the 1800’s. The shit being said about “illegal” immigrants are the same things that was said about my family when they immigrated here back in the 1950’s. They’re the same things being uttered by the Know Nothings who were the first white supremacists in the 1800’s along with the Christian Nationalists.

Rev then had a problem with Lala locking her replies to which she responded with:

And then quoting scripture which upset Rev. Because of course it does. Here’s the funny thing about dealing with self-proclaimed Christians, they get upset when other people quote the Bible. It’s a hypocritical move to make themselves look like they’re superior to others. Especially when they get called out on cherry picking and not understanding exactly where they’re getting the quote from or the context of what the whole chapter is talking about.

Both Rev, his wife, and his followers took issue with Lala locking her replies and with her quoting from the Bible. Here’s the thing, people are allowed to lock their replies if they want to. I’ve been known to block people when my physical health is being negatively affected by people because my blood pressure is rising to a dangerous level. I am unapologetic about that.

CM Punk once said it best, just because someone posts something publicly, it doesn’t mean you go and yell in their replies. You have to treat it like it’s your house. You’re enjoying a nice day and decide to have the window open. Someone decides to ruin that by screaming in your window. So what do you do? You punch them in the throat and shut the window.

Lala is in the right to lock her replies as does any creator. Just because someone is in the public eye doesn’t give you the right to dogpile them. Which is essentially what people did.

Now his wife chiming in by trying to police Lala’s language. Again, ICE isn’t that long of an agency and isn’t really that storied. A lot of the things that they’re doing now go against a lot of the Constitution. Trying to tell people that you’re not being very kind by saying Fuck ICE is weird. Being a Christian, I wouldn’t even both trying to police someone’s language. I would empathize. I would understand where the person is coming from. Because Jesus would do that. And Jesus would be angry himself and shout out Fuck ICE. Much like he took his anger out on the money changers in the temple.

But we only remember Jesus’ anger when it suits our rhetoric. Here’s the thing, people can test your faith. As is their right with the first amendment. Congress can’t make any laws in accordance to faith. However, that doesn’t stop someone for criticizing you because you don’t know the difference between your asshole and the hole in the ground when it comes to your faith. And no I don’t have to be nice in that assessment,

When I was in Christian chatrooms, I was never treated with any kindness despite being a Christian, but I was the wrong type of Christian. I also had a man who was a similar age as my dad, and a father himself who called me a cunt 11 times. If not more. Yeah. Very nice. Very loving.

There is no hate like a Christian’s love. And if these so called, self-proclaimed Christians truly did as Christ would, they wouldn’t take issue with being questioned or anything. But that is because they’re not Christian. You can judge someone by their fruits. Sure that verse is used to describe those who are false prophets but in a way creators like Rev and his ilk, are in fact misleading a large group of people. Like false prophets.

I know that some will say that this is how Christianity is and always been. The problem is that there was a period where Christianity wasn’t an established religion. It was a mystery cult of people that followed Jesus’ teachings to the best that they could. Though you had some outliers of the Ebonites and Marcionites that…did the opposite. Though the original holders of that mystery was the Gnostics. The point is that Christianity the mystery cult was persecuted and killed for their beliefs. It wasn’t until Constantine came into picture that allowed the Christians to exist, and for the Councils of Nicea and Trent to come about. From there people used the religion to further their lies and profit from it. Though the message of the Law of Agape still stands.

Love God. Love thy Neighbor.

That is it. That is all. The Ten Commandments can be summed up in those two commandments alone.

But these fake Christians do not care. They do not understand the Bible. They do not understand Jesus. They will try to sell their product even at the deaths of the many. That’s why there’s a problem with Christian Vtubers that go about this path. Their Christ is what people in the Pagan community call an egregore or a thoughtform. It’s not actually Christ. Because Christ would condemn them for their words and their actions. Christ would rebuke them and likely be killed by them.

The same thoughtform that has thought that enslaving and torturing people was okay. The same thoughtform that has thought that people of a different race were lesser. That has thought that women are lesser. It’s a dangerous thing. The corruption of Christianity.

But it’s them that will keep endangering Christianity. Christ would not support ICE. Christ would not support the incarceration of the innocent nor the murders of the innocent. These Christian Vtubers are not like Christ. And I honestly wish they would stop calling themselves Christian. You are called to be like Christ. It’s in the name. Literally.
