To not leave it to luck, there has been a growing interest in load testing in recent years as it allows us to verify our applications can handle expected traffic. It can point out reliability issues early and continuously.
If you didn't try any of them yet, you should definitely check k6 and locust. While locust is only completely event-based and available in Python, k6 is really new and only available with Javascript.
