Although he is often referenced as one of the most stylish male celebrities, Jacob Elordi’s outfits aren’t anything out of the ordinary. They’re just well put together, cohesive, and on-trend. And that’s not to say we don’t love his style (we do). But we want to make it clear that it’s completely possible and relatively easy to recreate his vibe once you break down each item he wears.
His formula is simple: baggy pants, always + one statement piece. Maybe a colorful hat or sneakers, an oversized tote (usually Bottega), colored-lens sunglasses, or a worn-in vintage layer. And many of his outfits are simple enough to work for both men and women who love an effortless streetwear vibe.
Instead of copying his outfits directly, we put our own spin on things. We’ve recreated his vibe with affordable alternatives (most under $100) that are just as stylish. We always recommend shopping your own closet first, but if you really want to nail these looks, it might be time to invest in a pair of baggy jeans and baggy trousers.
Denim on denim can be tricky, but the key is adding depth by mixing washes. The green sneakers are the statement here, and proof that one bold piece is all you need. Jacob's wearing Dries Van Noten sneakers that retail for $500+, but we found an affordable alternative with a similar look: the Le Fleur 1908 Jogger. Simple, easy, done.
This is Jacob’s effortlessly casual airport outfit, but it really can work for any outing. A white tee and black baggy trousers is about as basic as it gets, but the key is choosing the perfect fit. Trousers that are just the right length, and a t-shirt that is relaxed but not oversized. Jacob kept it sleek with black sneakers, but basically any sneakers will work well here, and you can swap them out for loafers if you want to elevate the look. Add your statement with a colorful hat.
When you really break down this outfit it’s really not all that complicated; and yet, it looks oh-so-good. Start with monochrome: a white tee and cream-colored baggy jeans. Jacob chose a distressed pair + what looks like a vintage denim overshirt for the statement piece. Sunglasses, a hat, and chunky sneakers finish it off.
You wouldn’t expect a navy windbreaker, pleated trousers, and loafers to go together, but somehow when Jacob Elordi wears them, it just works. We’d recommend layering a white tee underneath so that if you take the jacket off, you’ll still have a cohesive look. While Jacob’s wearing a $400 Arc’teryx jacket, we found a similar but more affordable alternative: the Uniqlo Blocktech Parka.
Again, let’s break down this outfit to prove how simple it really is. A white long-sleeve tee, baggy jeans, and black loafers. You probably already have these basics in your wardrobe. It works because of the pop of color: the bright blue hat pairs perfectly with the yellow bag. In this case, we swapped out Jacob’s yellow Louis Vuitton tote for a Coach card holder — something that feels a little bit more wearable.
