Welcome back to our series where we do the shopping so you don't have to. See our previous finds here:
This week we put together a practical capsule wardrobe for college: 32 pieces that can be mixed and matched to create endless outfits for class, lounging, studying, and going out. Dorms have limited space, so selecting the right pieces – and not overpacking – is key. Of course, your exact wardrobe will depend on where you go to school (climate, environment, city, etc.). So we included some standard pieces that can be used as a base and adjusted when necessary. You’re going to want to start with comfortable, easy basics (plain tees, sweatpants, jeans, sneakers) and build up from there.
Most of these items are under $100, with a few exceptions (jeans and a few pairs of shoes). Everything is in a soft, simple color palette, making them easy to style. Check out our picks below!
We’re going for simple, comfortable, practical, and easy to wear from class to the gym to lounging with friends.
