Earthquake & Incident Watch: 28 July-7 August 2026 (China & nearby areas)

Other points to remember:

(1) Till mid-September 2026, I am extremely busy. I thought of completely pausing earthquake predictions till then. However, I decided that I will try to look at least at China and nearby areas. However, I cannot guarantee if I would be able to do even this much till mid-September. Monthly overview posts, however, will continue to be posted as usual.

Note that 9-14 August and 25 August-1 September 2026 are highly malefic dates, particularly for accidents, deaths of notable figures and violence, as I said earlier. However, given my busy summer, I would not be looking at most of the world.

(3) Inner Mongolia area of China and the Koreas are highly likely to be quake- and incident-prone, as well as with some bad weather in store. Northeast China, in particular, may see malefic incidents. Taiwan area and its nearby Chinese mainland and Okinawa areas may even see M6.0+ quakes and other incidents. The Kerala-Tamil Nadu area of southern India may see strongly malefic incidents, in particular extremely heavy rain. Kathmandu wider area of Nepal or the border with India may see earthquakes.

And now below is the next set of predictions, limited to China and nearby areas. Predictions for rest of the world are paused till mid-September 2026.

Most prediction lines given below are for M5.0+ quakes (magnitude 5.0 and higher). However, there may still be some that remain within the M3.0-M5.0 range. Also, it is not that earthquakes will happen on all the prediction lines within China: rather, quakes would happen on many of the lines given below in areas that are elsewhere, and not in China. As I am not looking for the time being at all of the world, the reader might think it puzzling to see a surfeit of lines within China: many of them will not have quakes within China, but will see other incidents or weather described. Of course, most of the prediction lines will have quakes near them: some in China, some elsewhere.

Note: Sometimes, earthquake indications on the chart may be rather about other forms of earth disturbances such as volcanic activity, rockfall, avalanche, mudflow, landslide or ground subsidence. They could also be about “non-natural” forms of falls of structures: for example, the collapse of a bridge, an industrial accident in which a big piece of equipment falls down, a plane crash, or a building or mine collapse. Astrologically, they are all one category. So when I say earthquake, the complete category is meant. Please always bear this in mind.

Earthquakes are predicted near the following imaginary lines (within 250 km, but mostly much closer; however, as I am not publishing all the lines, distances may appear larger—see this post). You may extrapolate all lines further at both their ends (especially for accidents and malefic incidents other than quakes). If a high magnitude is predicted for a particular region, then that high magnitude applies to all prediction lines when passing through that region, even if I have not mentioned any magnitude or mentioned a lower magnitude for the other lines. Also, when many lines are close by, it is not necessary that there would be an earthquake for each of those lines; in addition, I may not repeatedly show the same area when several lines are close. However, the concentration of many lines in an area could indicate that that area may see strongly malefic incidents.

- Straight line running through 42°00′N, 130°51′E (off Uam-ri, Rason, North Korea). Notable accidents or incidents involving fire, firearms or explosions, troubles for travellers, network outages (power, IT, water, etc.), storms or strong winds, and troubles to authorities or those in high positions also possible near this line.

When extended south, the line can be seen passing through Japan’s Kyushu Island:

- Straight line running through 41°30′N, 123°12′E (near Liutiaozhai Town, Dengta, Liaoyang, Liaoning, China). Notable accidents, troubles for children, the young, or students, troubles for travellers/tourists, pilots/sailors, mediapersons and diplomats, communication troubles, conflicts, and storms or strong winds also possible near this line.

When extended south, Taiwan and several Okinawa islands lie well within the prediction area:

- Line between 50°30′N, 120°46′E (northeast of Xiyagetu 稀亚格图, Genhe, Hulunbuir, Inner Mongolia, China) and 42°00′N, 125°16′E (near Nanshancheng Town, Qingyuan Manchu Autonomous County, Fushun, Liaoning, China). This is a highly malefic line. Troubles for or death of nobles, those in positions of power, and scientists, scholars, religious leaders and communities also likely in some sections of this line, as are incidents of fire and lightning, and also notable accidents. Higher than usual temperatures may be witnessed in some areas near this line. It should be noted that the line passes close by North Korean capital Pyongyang.

- Straight line running through 50°30′N, 119°49′E (near Suqinxiang, Ergun City, Hulunbuir, Inner Mongolia, China). Notable accidents (especially aviation), landslides or collapses of structures, violence, incidents that bring casualties, troubles for labourers/blue collar workers or for the old or poor, troubles for the very wealthy, troubles for politicians, religious people, state ministers and bureaucrats, or strong precipitation also likely near this line. Earthquake magnitude near the line could cross magnitude 5.5.

When extended south, all of the island of Taiwan is within the prediction range of the line:

- Line between 50°21′N, 119°42′E (southwest of De’erbu 得尔布, Ergun City, Hulunbuir, Inner Mongolia, China) and 41°30′N, 124°04′E (near Pianling Town, Benxi Manchu Autonomous County, Benxi, Liaoning, China). Notable accidents, incidents of violence, troubles for the destitute, low temperatures, storms, troubles for waste processing or storage facilities, conflicts to gain power, notable criminal incidents, troubles for criminal networks, troubles for those in positions of power, and troubles for scientists, scholars, religious leaders and communities also likely in some sections of this line.

- Line between 25°00′N, 119°27′E (off Wuqiu Township, Kinmen County, Taiwan) and 22°30′N, 119°54′E (off Kaohsiung, Taiwan). Noteworthy accidents or notable malefic incidents, in addition to or instead of earthquakes, could occur near this line.

- Line between 29°48′N, 117°20′E (near Jiangcunxiang, Fuliang County, Jingdezhen, Jiangxi, China) and 25°18′N, 118°05′E (near Bailaixiang, Anxi County, Quanzhou, Fujian, China). Noteworthy accidents or notable malefic incidents, in addition to or instead of earthquakes, could occur near this line.

- Line between 41°53′N, 113°58′E (near Changshun Town, Huade County, Ulanqab, Inner Mongolia, China) and 37°00′N, 114°59′E (near Pingxiang County, Xingtai, Hebei, China). Notable accidents, troubles for children, the young, or students, troubles for travellers/tourists, pilots/sailors, mediapersons and diplomats, communication troubles, conflicts, and storms or strong winds also possible near this line. When it comes to earthquakes, magnitude may not be able to cross 4.2 near the line in the prediction section shown but would exceed 3.0:

- Straight line running through 33°30′N, 113°09′E (near Ye County, Pingdingshan, Henan, China). Notable accidents, strong violence, major incidents of fires or explosions or involving firearms, troubles for soldiers or surgeons, or strong precipitation or storms also likely near this line. This is a highly malefic prediction section shown here, especially for storms and very heavy rains:

- Line between 40°42′N, 112°22′E (near Dayushu Town, Zhuozi County, Ulanqab, Inner Mongolia, China) and 37°30′N, 112°54′E (near Yuci District, Jinzhong, Shanxi, China). Notable accidents, landslides or collapses of structures, violence, incidents that bring casualties, troubles for labourers/blue collar workers or for the old or poor, troubles for the very wealthy, troubles for politicians, religious people, state ministers and bureaucrats, or strong rains also likely near this line.

When extended south, the same line can be seen thus: between 26°48′N, 114°26′E (near Bixizhen, Taihe County, Jiangxi, Ji’An, Jiangxi, China) and 23°06′N, 114°54′E (near Songkeng Town, Huidong, Huizhou, Guangdong, China).

- Line between 27°00′N, 111°01′E (near Longhui County, Shaoyang, Hunan, China) and 23°48′N, 111°17′E (near Liubao Town, Cangwu County, Wuzhou, Guangxi, China). Noteworthy accidents or notable malefic incidents, in addition to or instead of earthquakes, could occur near this line.

- Line between 39°53′N, 109°05′E (near Taran’Gaole Town, Hanggin Banner, Ordos City, Inner Mongolia, China) and 33°36′N, 109°43′E (near Eryuhe Town, Shanyang County, Shangluo, Shaanxi, China). Noteworthy accidents, copious rainfall, troubles to women or those in art, fashion or luxury sectors, or notable malefic incidents, in addition to or instead of earthquakes, could occur near this line. The prediction section shown here is quite malefic:

- Straight line running through 45°00′N, 108°30′E (northeast of Ortsog Khural, Dornogovi, Mongolia). Notable accidents (especially involving aircraft or watercraft), incidents of drowning, incidents of shooting, terrorism or violence in general, troubles for the young, copious precipitation, and notable instances of deception or fraud also could occur near this line.

- Line between 32°00′N, 106°41′E (near Yunding Town, Nanjiang County, Bazhong, Sichuan, China) and 27°00′N, 106°52′E (near Kaiyang County, Guiyang, Guizhou, China). Notable accidents (especially involving aircraft or watercraft), incidents of drowning, incidents of shooting, terrorism or violence in general, troubles for the young, copious precipitation, and notable instances of deception or fraud also could occur near this line.

- Line between 31°41′N, 103°12′E (near Shangmengxiang, Li County, Sichuan, Ngawa Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan, China) and 25°36′N, 103°09′E (near Jinsuoxiang, Xundian Hui and Yi Autonomous County, Kunming, Yunnan, China). Noteworthy accidents, very heavy rainfall, strong landslides or fall of structures, or notable malefic incidents, in addition to or instead of earthquakes, could occur near this line.

- Line between 28°23′N, 97°47′E (northwest of Qujiaotong 曲脚通, Zayu, Nyingchi, Tibet, China) and 23°48′N, 97°27′E (near Kadaw, Ton Hone Yang, Myanmar). Notable accidents, strong violence, major incidents of fires or explosions or involving firearms, troubles for soldiers, troubles to women or those in art, fashion or luxury sectors, or strong precipitation or storms also likely near this line.

- Straight line running through 37°36′N, 94°30′E (north of Xilingqiu 西陵丘, Haixi Mongol and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai, China). Notable accidents, strong violence, major incidents of fires or explosions or involving firearms, troubles for soldiers, troubles to women or those in art, fashion or luxury sectors, or strong precipitation or storms also likely near this line. The prediction section shown is highly malefic, in particular for extremely heavy precipitation:

- Line between 31°30′N, 93°49′E (near Xiangquxiang, Biru County, Nagqu, Tibet, China) and 23°00′N, 92°43′E (near Thuampui, Mizoram, India). Notable accidents, landslides or collapses of structures, violence, incidents that bring casualties, troubles for labourers/blue collar workers or for the old or poor, troubles for the very wealthy, troubles for politicians, religious people, state ministers and bureaucrats, or strong precipitation also likely near this line.

- Line between 30°00′N, 91°57′E (near Nimajiangrexiang, Maizhokunggar County, Lhasa, Tibet, China) and 25°53′N, 91°19′E (southeast of Chakrasila, Assam, India). Noteworthy accidents or notable malefic incidents, in addition to or instead of earthquakes, could occur near this line.

- Line between 43°47′N, 90°00′E (near Xiji’Er Town, Mori Kazakh Autonomous County, Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang, China) and 37°42′N, 88°10′E (northeast of Bukata Shisayi 布卡塔什萨依, Ruoqiang County, Bayingolin Mongol Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang, China). This is a highly malefic line. Noteworthy accidents, incidents involving fire, firearms or explosions, troubles for travellers, network outages (power, IT, water, etc.), storms or strong winds, troubles to authorities or those in high positions or other notable malefic incidents, in addition to or instead of earthquakes, could occur near this line.

When extended south, the same line can be described thus: between 28°06′N, 85°48′E (near Golche, Bagmati Province, Nepal) and 25°00′N, 85°08′E (near Mandai, Bihar, India).

- Straight line running through 25°53′N, 84°26′E (near Ramnagar Janubi, Uttar Pradesh, India). Notable accidents, troubles for children, the young, or students, troubles for travellers/tourists, pilots/sailors, mediapersons and diplomats, communication troubles, conflicts, and storms or strong winds also possible near this line. The prediction section shown is highly malefic, and an M5.5+ quake or a strong landslide or major accident is highly likely:

- Straight line running through 44°36′N, 76°47′E (near Bakbakty, Almaty, Kazakhstan). Notable accidents or incidents involving fire, firearms or explosions, troubles for travellers, network outages (power, IT, water, etc.), storms or strong winds, and troubles to authorities or those in high positions also possible near this line.

When extended south, the line passes through Kashmir-China border:

When extended further south, the line passes very close to New Delhi, India’s capital (not shown). When extended further south, the southern Indian section of the line appears highly malefic, in particular for very heavy rains/storms, landslide or major accident:

Note 1: Owing to lack of time, I am unable to look at almost all the world, except for China and some nearby areas. It is possible that on some prediction line(s) that I have not chosen, a strong earthquake may take place, but I can only do my best with the time constraints possible. However, wherever a line is given, an earthquake or some other incident that can or does lead to fall of structures is highly likely to happen near it, unless weak probability is already noted. Of course, as stated earlier, if several lines are very close by, it is not necessary that there would be a notable event corresponding to each line: always use common sense!

Note 2: If a big earthquake has happened in a place, aftershocks may continue for days, weeks and even months. I predict the big (usually the first) earthquake, not always the aftershocks (unless they are also seen prominently on the charts, as does happen sometimes, especially when an aftershock is big).
