Earthquake & Incident Watch: 20-31 July 2026 (Part I - limited)

Other points to remember:

(1) Throughout this summer at least, I will be looking at only Japan, China, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Afghanistan area in the Eastern Hemisphere, and the Pacific West of North America (but not further north of Washington State area), Texas area, Ecuador-Peru, northern Chile and northern Venezuela in the Western Hemisphere, as I am very hard pressed for time. Of course, sometimes some bordering or nearby countries may also find a mention.

(3) Central China, particularly Western Shaanxi-Eastern Sichuan area, may see a major earthquake in this period, whose magnitude may cross 6.0 and/or which is quite destructive. Jilin area looks incident-prone or quake-prone. Many parts of eastern-southeastern India, eastern Nepal and Bangladesh area, besides large stretches of the Bay of Bengal, are likely to receive extremely heavy rainfall.

(4) There appears to be violence in Kashmir and/or along the India-Pakistan border, notably Rajasthan border. India-Pakistan may move close to a war in this period, which may eventuate in August. There may be strong troubles for India, Pakistan or the Modi government in this period, notably during 26-29 July.

And now below is the next set of predictions, first for the Eastern Hemisphere, limited to the countries mentioned in (1) above. Predictions for the Western Hemisphere (i.e., Part II), again limited, are planned to be published soon.

Most prediction lines given below are for M5.0+ quakes (magnitude 5.0 and higher). However, there may still be some that remain within the M3.0-M5.0 range.

Note: Sometimes, earthquake indications on the chart may be rather about other forms of earth disturbances such as volcanic activity, rockfall, avalanche, mudflow, landslide or ground subsidence. They could also be about “non-natural” forms of falls of structures: for example, the collapse of a bridge, an industrial accident in which a big piece of equipment falls down, a plane crash, or a building or mine collapse. Astrologically, they are all one category. So when I say earthquake, the complete category is meant. Please always bear this in mind.

Earthquakes are predicted near the following imaginary lines (within 250 km, but mostly much closer; however, as I am not publishing all the lines, distances may appear larger—see this post). You may extrapolate all lines further at both their ends (especially for accidents and malefic incidents other than quakes). If a high magnitude is predicted for a particular region, then that high magnitude applies to all prediction lines when passing through that region, even if I have not mentioned any magnitude or mentioned a lower magnitude for the other lines. Also, when many lines are close by, it is not necessary that there would be an earthquake for each of those lines; in addition, I may not repeatedly show the same area when several lines are close. However, the concentration of many lines in an area could indicate that that area may see strongly malefic incidents.

- Line between 43°23′N, 146°49′E (south of Shikotan Island, Kuril Islands) and 39°30′N, 145°20′E (east off Miyako, Iwate, Japan). Noteworthy accidents or notable malefic incidents, in addition to or instead of earthquakes, could occur near this line.

- Straight line running through 42°00′N, 146°24′E (off Hokkaido, Japan). Notable accidents, troubles for children, the young, or students, troubles for travellers/tourists, pilots/sailors, mediapersons and diplomats, communication troubles, conflicts and violence, and storms or strong winds also possible near this line.

- Line between 36°36′N, 138°08′E (near Nagano, Japan) and 34°23′N, 137°14′E (south off Tahara, Aichi, Japan). Noteworthy accidents or notable malefic incidents, in addition to or instead of earthquakes, could occur near this line. This is a highly malefic line, especially its southern end, where earthquake magnitude could even cross 5.8:

- Straight line running through 34°23′N, 137°02′E (east off Toba, Mie, Japan). Notable accidents or incidents involving fire, firearms or explosions, troubles for travellers, network outages (power, IT, water, etc.), storms or strong winds, and troubles to authorities or those in high positions also possible near this line.

- Line between 40°17′N, 128°16′E (near Toksong, South Hamgyong, North Korea) and 33°17′N, 124°19′E (west of Jeju Island, South Korea). Notable accidents, incidents of violence, troubles for the destitute, low temperatures, storms, troubles for waste processing or storage facilities, conflicts to gain power, notable criminal incidents, troubles for criminal networks, troubles for those in positions of power, and troubles for scientists, scholars, religious leaders and communities also likely in some sections of this line.

When extended south, the same line can be described thus: between 29°23′N, 122°25′E (off Xiaobizi 小鼻子, Xiangshan, Ningbo, Zhejiang, China) and 22°11′N, 119°17′E (off Donggang, Pingtung County, Taiwan). The Ningbo-Wenzhou wider area looks especially malefic.

- Straight line running through 24°00′N, 127°38′E (south off Naha, Okinawa, Japan). Notable accidents, incidents of violence, troubles for the destitute, low temperatures, storms, troubles for waste processing or storage facilities, conflicts to gain power, notable criminal incidents, troubles for criminal networks, and troubles for those in positions of power also likely in some sections of this line.

When extended north, the Jilin-North Korea section of the line appears malefic, especially for violence, storms or accidents:

- Line between 26°00′N, 112°33′E (near Ouyanghai Township, Guiyang County, Chenzhou, Hunan, China) and 22°18′N, 110°49′E (near Beijie Town, Xinyi, Maoming, Guangdong Province, China). Notable accidents or incidents involving fire, firearms or explosions, troubles for travellers, network outages (power, IT, water, etc.), storms or strong winds, and troubles to authorities or those in high positions also possible near this line.

When extended north, the following section looks somewhat more malefic, rather: between 41°30′N, 121°39′E (near Bei Town, Jinzhou, Liaoning, China) and 35°00′N, 117°22′E (near Tengzhou, Zaozhuang, Shandong, China).

- Line between 39°00′N, 111°54′E (near Wuzhai County, Xinzhou, Shanxi, China) and 34°00′N, 108°32′E (near Huyi District, Xi’an, Shaanxi, China). Notable accidents, troubles for children, the young, or students, troubles for travellers/tourists, pilots/sailors, mediapersons and diplomats, communication troubles, conflicts, and storms or strong winds also possible near this line.

- Straight line running through 34°39′N, 106°32′E (near Long County, Shaanxi, Baoji, Shaanxi, China). Notable accidents (especially air), strong incidents of violence, troubles for the destitute, low temperatures, storms, troubles for waste processing or storage facilities, conflicts to gain power, notable criminal incidents, troubles for criminal networks, troubles for those in positions of power, and troubles for scientists, scholars, religious leaders and communities also likely in some sections of this line. This is a very highly malefic line, especially the wider area around the red symbol shown here: earthquake magnitude could cross even 6.0, but malefic nature could also present itself through a major accident or violent incident, strong landslide or major storm.

- Line between 31°00′N, 104°52′E (near Kaihe Town, Santai County, Mianyang, Sichuan, China) and 24°48′N, 101°28′E (near Yici Town, Chuxiong City, Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan, China). Take a 265 km range on the west of this line instead of the usual 250 km. Notable accidents, landslides or collapses of structures, strong violence, major incidents of fires or explosions, incidents that bring casualties, troubles for labourers/blue collar workers or for the old or poor, troubles for the very wealthy, troubles for politicians, religious people, state ministers and bureaucrats, or strong precipitation or storms also likely near this line. This again is a very highly malefic line, and both its northern and southern ends look highly vulnerable.

- Line between 44°00′N, 103°47′E (near Bulgan, Ömnögovi, Mongolia) and 35°42′N, 97°13′E (near Harisai 哈日赛, Dulan County, Haixi Mongol and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai, China). Notable accidents, incidents of drowning, incidents of shooting, terrorism or violence in general, troubles for the young, copious precipitation, and notable instances of deception or fraud also could occur near this line.

When extended south, the same line can be described thus: between 28°11′N, 92°31′E (near Gengmula Zhuogu 更木拉卓古, Cona County, Shannan, Tibet, China) and 22°11′N, 89°16′E (south of Gabura Union, Khulna Division, Bangladesh). The Sunderbans delta (Bangladesh-India) may, in particular, see extremely heavy rains/storms:

- Straight line running through 26°23′N, 103°02′E (near Tuobuka Town, Dongchuan District, Kunming, Yunnan, China). Notable incidents of violence, especially committed by the marginalised or those cast out of mainstream society, may also occur near the line. Major accidents, involving several casualties, could also occur near this line.

- Straight line running through 27°00′N, 93°54′E (near Chalokhori Pathar, Assam, India). Noteworthy accidents or notable malefic incidents, in addition to or instead of earthquakes, could occur near this line.

When extended north, the line will go right through Hami (Xinjiang, China):

- Straight line running through 28°48′N, 92°16′E (near Qusum County, Shannan, Tibet, China). Noteworthy accidents, strong rains or notable malefic incidents, in addition to or instead of earthquakes, could occur near this line.

- Straight line running through 43°00′N, 89°40′E (near Shengjin Township, Gaochang District, Turpan, Xinjiang, China). Notable accidents, troubles for and death of children, the young, or students, troubles for travellers/tourists, pilots/sailors, mediapersons and diplomats, communication troubles, conflicts and violence, and storms or strong winds also possible near this line.

- Straight line running through 27°41′N, 87°56′E (near Lelep, Koshi, Nepal). Notable accidents, landslides or collapses of structures, violence, incidents that bring casualties, troubles for labourers/blue collar workers or for the old or poor, troubles for the very wealthy, troubles for politicians, religious people, state ministers and bureaucrats, or strong precipitation also likely near this line. The prediction area shown (and Bengal-Bay of Bengal area south to the area, not shown), in particular, may receive extremely heavy rainfall.

- Straight line running through 27°41′N, 83°37′E (near Devdaha, Lumbini, Nepal). Noteworthy accidents or notable malefic incidents, in addition to or instead of earthquakes, could occur near this line.

When extended south, the line goes through the Andhra-Odisha area of India, which could see significant rains in particular:

- Straight line running through 43°17′N, 82°39′E (near Kuerdening Town, Gongliu County, Ili, Xinjiang, China). Noteworthy accidents or notable malefic incidents (especially fire/explosions, storms and/or violence in the prediction section shown), in addition to or instead of earthquakes, could occur near this line:

When extended south, the line can be seen passing through the Ngari Prefecture of Tibet, and earthquake likelihood increases in this section:

- Line between 41°36′N, 77°51′E (near Kara-Say, Issyk-Kul, Kyrgyzstan) and 36°12′N, 73°57′E (near Bubur, Kashmir). Notable accidents, troubles for children, the young, or students, troubles for travellers/tourists, pilots/sailors, mediapersons and diplomats, communication troubles, conflicts and violence, and storms or strong winds also possible near this line. Strong rains’ possibility is higher in the Kyrgyzstan-Xinjiang border area of the line.

When extended south, the same line can be described thus: between 28°41′N, 69°26′E (south of Loti, Balochistan, Pakistan) and 25°36′N, 67°46′E (near Achar, Sindh, Pakistan).

- Line between 34°00′N, 75°25′E (near Pahalgam, Kashmir) and 27°06′N, 71°24′E (near Arjanhar, Rajasthan, India). Notable accidents or incidents involving fire, firearms or explosions, troubles for the young, travellers/tourists or diplomats, notable incidents of violence and aggression, and storms or strong winds also possible near this line. It should be noted that the line passes all along the India-Pakistan border:

- Straight line running through 30°00′N, 73°32′E (near Munian Wala, Punjab, Pakistan). Noteworthy accidents or notable malefic incidents (especially fire/explosions, storms and/or violence in the prediction section shown), in addition to or instead of earthquakes, could occur near this line:

When extended north, the line passes through the earthquake-prone Wakhan Corridor area (Afghanistan):

- Straight line running through 28°00′N, 72°14′E (near Charanwala, Rajasthan, India). Notable accidents, incidents of drowning, strong incidents of shooting, terrorism or violence in general, troubles for the young, copious precipitation, and notable instances of deception or fraud also could occur near this line, with the prediction section shown looking particularly vulnerable for violence, fires/explosions and/or storms.

- Line between 33°36′N, 61°52′E (near Cah-i-Qal’a, Herat, Afghanistan) and 26°36′N, 58°09′E (near Banshangar, Hormozgan, Iran). Notable accidents or incidents involving fire, firearms or explosions, airstrikes, troubles for travellers, network outages (power, IT, water, etc.), storms or strong winds, and troubles to authorities or those in high positions also possible near this line.

Part II, with predictions for the Western Hemisphere, for the period of 21 July to 1 August 2026, will be published soon.

Note 1: Owing to lack of time, I am unable to look at many areas of the world. It is possible that on some prediction line(s) that I have not chosen, a strong earthquake may take place, but I can only do my best with the time constraints possible. However, wherever a line is given, an earthquake or some other incident that can or does lead to fall of structures is highly likely to happen near it, unless weak probability is already noted. Of course, as stated earlier, if several lines are very close by, it is not necessary that there would be a notable event corresponding to each line: always use common sense!

Note 2: If a big earthquake has happened in a place, aftershocks may continue for days, weeks and even months. I predict the big (usually the first) earthquake, not always the aftershocks (unless they are also seen prominently on the charts, as does happen sometimes, especially when an aftershock is big).
