I am sharing my Eclipse musings a bit earlier, because we are so deeply in its energy already. This eclipse is heavily centered around the heart and the needs of the heart, its exhaustion and the search for resonance. It belongs to Saros series 126, and after looking at a lot of Eclipses of this series (the first one was in 1179), it is clearly about the destruction of false truths and with South Node a lot of these “truths” indeed feel like second nature. Both to individuals and the systems.
We are officially entering the Eclipse corridor on August 12th with a Solar Eclipse at 20º of Leo. The 126th Saros is connected to the idea of coming to a point where the bubbles burst, where the systems overheat, and those in power have no more ways of concealing a true reality, and for us we can no longer conceal our true reality. The most recent eclipse of this Saros took place on August 1st, 2008. These two are connected, not the same, but they serve the same purpose and goal. The events of 2008 are significant here. Everyone will have a different story depending on their individual chart and houses that are activated. But the overall theme is that the story that started in 2008, is now getting to the next evolutionary cycle, just with more experience under our belt and less energy to participate in anything that is clearly a distortion of reality.

This is a South Node Eclipse; the themes and circumstances are not completely new to us. The South Node is a point that deals with the past, with what is familiar, with our default setting. Because it is a New Moon Eclipse, something is opening up and is being initiated. As it sits with the South Node, we are either ending something very familiar to our heart or giving something that has always held our heart together a new life. Most likely it is going to be a dance of both, part severing and part resurrection. With Eclipses the light is not there, and frankly speaking light is not always a good thing, it can blind, distract and manipulate, especially external one. And we are after true light if we want any semblance of life well lived, and that is the rarest thing these days - the light that is not artificially manufactured, one that can be accessed even if everything goes dark. With the Sun in the proximity to the South Node in Leo you might notice your energy levels going down, not being able to master energy for whatever your default mechanisms dim essential. Pay attention to that, because we are being led towards what actually feeds our life force.
It is important to understand that the influence of every Eclipse is revealed through a longer time period. A heightened emotional environment is not uncommon around these dates, but the actual events tend to happen in the course of the following 6 months, especially on the midpoint between two Eclipse seasons. The midpoint here falls in November of 2026. That is not to say that some significant events cannot happen around this Eclipse corridor, most likely they will, but a lot more will be revealed in the course of the next months in relation to the Leo house in your chart. I personally anticipate the fall from graces left and right from people in power, proximity to power or of some notoriety.
I want to also highlight that we have only two Leo Eclipses during this Nodal Transit through Leo and Aquarius axis, and both are Solar Eclipses (new moons of massive importance!). So though we do have a South Node draining the Leo part of our chart, it is imperative that we do not shy away from really giving ourselves to our creative inklings and the little glimmers of inner excitement. We are meant to start re-introducing a kind of playfulness and risk taking into our lives that is rooted in what is real and true about our essential nature. Start small, there cannot be any certainty right now, it is when we are going to have a second Solar Eclipse in August 2027 things will start to really crystallize. After we collect all the information from playing, from moments of excitement, from our creative inklings we can apply it in a constructive way in an outer world. Do not let the lack of certainty/clarity dampen this fire. If you take anything from this article I want you to go into the experiences that stir something in you in spite of how little certainty it provides.
The Eclipses are time periods where something that used to work, even if barely, can stop working altogether. Eclipses break us out of complacency and stagnation, by halting or re-orienting us through circumstances and applied pressure. Solar Eclipse mostly deals with people in power, presidents, heads of large organizations, kings and paternal figures. On a personal level they show us our relationship with authority, inner light and ability to use our talents in the aligned manner. Something that we managed to ignore and brush under the carpet for a very long time, with eclipses becoming impossible to ignore. The only way out is through, and we do want to start valuing this process, not avoiding it. The ancients used to fear Eclipses, because the reality as they knew it often gave cracks and seemingly immovable parts of the collective existence would start moving. And here we are, and in anticipation of tectonic plates of power to move, and they will.
The power, your will and how you yield it come center stage. There is a notion of branding, of presenting oneself a certain way, we have to resist this notion and instead turn to our will which needs to be focused on truth and being rather than performing. We are covering up something within ourselves, and this Eclipse is not about what we are covering, but the tools we use to do it. Places where you play the role vs living your life, where you have false foundations, everything goes dim, and in this condition you can see what is truly reliable within you, what produces light in this darkness.
