You think it is time to celebrate when Mercury Retrograde comes to an end (I usually do). And its end was last Thursday.
I tend to get writers block during those wonderful 3 weeks. And this time, it was more of the same. Other than that, many of the typical effects (electronics, communications, contracts, travel) seemed to have gone well.
SO I THOUGHT!
I was prepared to write an update today. I logged into my wordpress site and . . . it crashed. I received a fatal error and some app had crashed and I would have to restore it. And it’s about 10:00 PM now and I have not been able to do it.
I call this a Mercury Retrograde hangover!
This is definitely not the first time I have run into major crash issues during a retrograde. 3 years ago or so, I came out of a Mercury Retrograde (where I similarly did not write much) to find out that my email service had unceremoniously cancelled my service. And since it was a free account, there was NO recourse to get it back. No live customer service. And since I was not a paying customer, they would not explain why.
After reading their rules and regulations, I had broken a bunch of them - chief among them talking about C0v1d or any medical issues, saying derogatory comments about “settled science” (climate change), spreading conspiracy theories like Q-anon, using improperly credited/copyrighted photos and swearing.
I knew I was guilty a thousand times over. But it would have been nice to know exactly what they had caught me for.
This small speedbump I am having with ASTROGARDENS.COM will be short lived. The site is still active. I can still write here on Substack - who kindly offer me free email services and don’t give a flying fuck what I talk about and who I might offend.
Thank God for Free Speech.
So honoring my Happy Monday message, I am looking forward to the future. Grateful that the past is behind us.
