Well, we made it…first day of school is officially here. And I’m unwell. Kinder and 2nd grade this year, and I will be honest with you I thought I had my emotions locked down. I did the backpacks, I did the first-day-of-school signs (which ironically forgot to use), I took approximately 400 photos in the doorway... and then I cried as we walked in. Nobody warns you it hits different every single year.

Le sigh.

Moving on to clothes now. We are deep in that awkward limbo where the calendars (and our favorite brands) say fall but the thermometer says 99 degrees. I’ve got sweaters I’m dying to wear sitting in my closet. So this week’s looks are a little bit of both worlds: that transitional stretch where you’re dressing for the season you want while surviving the one you’re actually in.

Here’s what I’ve been living in (and putting together for you) this week:

I was running late to an appointment on Wednesday and forgot to put on any jewelry or accessories but honestly this outfit is just so good. These basics really shine imo. The top is very boxy/oversized; I'm in an XS and these jeans are such a good shape (especially with a t-shirt, which is what I'm wearing 90% of the time).

We love a matching set moment. The fabric on this one is so plush, without being too heavyweight. Styled with Steve Madden sneakers (a good Miu Miu look a like), a suede bag, sunglasses, and one of my favorite mineral sunscreens.

It takes a lot for me to go to a mall, but this jacket literally stopped me in my tracks. I feel like Mango can be hit or miss, but this jacket is honestly next level in terms of quality. Seriously, it’s beautiful and looks so expensive. I’m in a small.

This outfit is in my cart. Dark washes for fall are it. Styling this pair of denim with kitten heels, sunglasses, a basic tank, statement earrings, and a jacket.

Again with this short set. It really does not look or feel like Amazon. I paired it with these oversized sunglasses, which are really the moment here.

I love these cargos. Paired with a button-up shirt, sandals, sunglasses, statement earrings, and THIS Beauty Lip Polish in the shade “Posh.”

I found this skirt on sale (I'm in the 2, and I feel like it ran big) and it's so perfect for when you want to be comfortable and look good, but literally put in zero effort. I'm thinking carpool drop-offs, running to appointments, errands, etc. I love it. I wore it with this t-shirt to keep it a little undone.

Love the ease of this outfit. The top feels elevated without trying too hard and the denim hugs you in all the right places. Also linking kitten heels, a mesh bag, earrings, and THIS Beauty Lip Liner in the shade “Define.”
