March: 10 Things On my Radar

I started keeping a running list this month of things I keep circling back to (probably not great but there’s some things you just can’t get off your mind). Some of these I’ve researched a little too much, some I’ve seen just enough times to be influenced, and a few that are fully sitting in my cart waiting for a moment of weakness.

We’re about to start backyard demo and design, so my brain has already jumped ahead to summer. Realistically next summer, because these things always take longer than you think, but I keep picturing dinner parties (with those place settings), kids running around, and easy playdates outside. All while wearing this hat of course.

A red light mask I already believe in enough to want the neck version, a new show everyone keeps mentioning, a throw-on summer dress I can already picture on repeat, and a few beauty things I’m planning to grab during the Sephora sale. Consider this my current “almost purchased” list.

• Raffia Miu Miu Hat: A definite splurge, but... she’s cute. Tried it on with a friend for fun and unfortunately, it was really good. Chic, understated, logo wasn’t as loud as you’d expect. Which is all slightly annoying because now I can’t stop thinking about it.

• White Dress: One of those dresses that just goes with actually anything. Denim jacket, sweater, sneakers, sandals etc.

• Statement Earrings: These earrings have been on my wishlist for so long. They are what I call "outfit makers" and make even a white t-shirt look cool.

• Toning Pads: If you’ve used the resurfacing tonic, you already know it’s basically a professional-grade chemical peel in a bottle (it’s gentle don’t worry), and these feel like the same idea just made easier. I use it a few nights a week (alternating with retinol), and it gives that clear, glowy skin without irritating mine, which says a lot. This is perfect if you do get treatments in clinic and want something to help prolong your results.

• Longwear Eyeliner: I need a good liner and my MUA said this was VB adjacent. On my list to grab at the Sephora Sale.

• Kabuki Brush: A makeup artist I follow swears by this for powder blush or highlight (especially for setting after cream). She uses it every time, and the finish is always so good.

• Red Light Mask: I’ve used the Omnilux contour mask for a while and really like it, but now I want the neck + décolleté version. It’s one of those things that actually works if you’re consistent. This is derm recommended red and near-infrared light for smoother, more even skin over time. It also helps with collagen production and even calms the skin.

• Art Print: I’ve sprinkled various pieces of art throughout our home, and while some of them are originals for estate sale finds, I’ve been able to find a few gems on Etsy. I also think the frame and mat can go a long way. I’m eager to order this piece.

• Martini Candle: This was burning at a boutique I went in over spring break and haven’t stopped thinking about it since. Fresh, a little citrusy, a little tomato-y… just really good. I can’t do really floral heavy fragrances and this smells divine.

• Friends and Neighbors (2nd season): I loved the first season and the second one just came out. On my list to watch asap.
