Hi! Hi! Hello!
Last Friday I sat down with a pad of paper and wrote down everything I needed to get done this week, plus all the little extras that go with it. Homemade cookies for one party, homemade muffins for another, first day photos, and so on and so forth. The list was LONG. But somehow, we are doing it!
We’re four days into back-to-school and I think I can finally say we’re finding our groove. After a very emotional first day, our new routine feels extra sweet, and honestly everyone is thriving, which makes my heart so happy.
The best part of the new routine is something we started this week almost by accident. We’ve been trying to get everyone ready a full 30-minutes before we have to leave in the morning, and we spend that time as a family playing Legos or doing whatever the kids want to do. Just the four of us on the floor, focused on each other. Then we do a big family hug and prayer before we all buckle up and head our separate ways. It has quickly become everyone’s favorite part of the day!
This week marked so many big things for us. Besides back-to-school and new routines, the startup Ryan joined earlier this summer launched their product (it's amazing, go buy it!) and we are so excited. And tomorrow is his birthday! We're having friends over to celebrate, so I'm cooking a big meal, shaking up cocktails, and baking a cake, of course. And then, if that wasn't enough, we are ripping out our powder bathroom this weekend and doing a full DIY. It's been a few years since our last one and we are thrilled to dust off our tools!
I feel like I’ve lived a lot of different lives since last Friday, but here we are. We are fully scrambled, but also kind of not? I don’t know how to explain it. Hearts are light, to-do lists are full.

📚 - I just downloaded The Night We Met on my Kindle last night. I’m on chapter three and loving it so far!
🎨 - My friend made this DIY Lego table and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it. My kids would FLIP over this. I’ve also seen some great ones on Etsy.
🎀 - Speaking of kid’s stuff, I ordered Juliet’s Bitty Baby a very nostalgic outfit because the one she comes in now is just sad. This one from Etsy makes me so happy and reminds me of my own childhood.
💰 - I wrote this post yesterday on the five products I own that are totally worth their price. Definitely a good list, if I do say so myself!
🍅 - I saved this recipe immediately. I love a tomato tart, and a “Tomatatin” at that. I do think I could make it gf/df if I thought about it long enough. Ugh, looks unreal. Perfect late summer treat.
The Cutest Colorful Slippers
A new-to-me brand and I’m already obsessed. These colorful knit slippers are SO cute, ridiculously cozy, and perfect for the upcoming months. I just got a pair and genuinely cannot stop wearing them.
ZIIP Halo
I talked more about my ZIIP Halo in Tuesday’s Substack, but I’m officially hooked. It’s such an easy addition to my beauty routine and I love how it lifts, de-puffs, and contours, while also targeting fine lines, wrinkles, and acne. Truly does it all!
Heist Decaf Coffee
I know you’ve heard me talk about Heist all week, but I’m just SO excited it’s finally out in the world! It tastes like your very favorite cup of coffee, minus the caffeine, and is decaffeinated using a water process without all the nasty chemicals. I drink a cup every single afternoon around 3 p.m., and I’m so proud of this one. Go get it!
The Prettiest Reformation Top
This top is just so beautiful and classic. I love the structure, it feels almost Dior-esque to me, and I can already think of a million ways I’d wear it. Definitely one of those pieces you’ll have in your closet forever.
What to Cook When You Don’t Feel Like Cooking
I just ordered this cookbook because, if I’m being honest, I never feel like cooking. Ha! I love to bake, but dinner is another story, and I especially love that every recipe in this book is a complete meal. No figuring out three different sides to go with it. Exactly what I need!

Hill House just launched their new collection and, as always, I want everything. This top and these pants are especially beautiful and feel so classic. Wear them together, separately, dressed up, dressed down... all the things.
The Sweetest Janie and Jack Romper
Janie and Jack can truly do no wrong in my opinion, and this little fall romper is at the very top of my list for Juliet. I can already picture it with a sweet little cardigan. So cute!

I cannot get over this little New York Zara t-shirt! I love all the fun colors, and I’m pretty sure I’m going to order one for each of the kids. Too cute, especially for our upcoming trip!

This green striped sweatshirt with the blue trim is SO good. I actually had the same one for Laurens in a different color last year and loved it so much that I’m ordering it again.
A Sequined Stripe
I really love this sequined striped button-down. It feels fun, elevated, and a little unexpected, but still so wearable. One of those tops you could pull out for a million different occasions.
The Cocktail Mini
This mini dress is SO cute. I especially love the ruching in the back, and paired with a great pair of gold sandals?! Such a fun cocktail look.
Skinbetter Science Alto Defense Serum
I’ve been testing a few new things in my skincare routine, and this one has officially earned its spot. I’ve been using it for the past few weeks as my vitamin C/antioxidant serum and really, really like it. A new staple!
