In 2020, we spent Weldon’s very first Christmas in the NICU, during a 74-day stay that forever changed our hearts. During that time, we were overwhelmed by acts of kindness from strangers, staff, family, and friends.
Each year since, with your help, we’ve tried to pay that kindness forward to families spending the holidays in the NICU.
This year, together, we raised over $4,400. The most ever!
Because of your generosity, we were able to donate over 85 pieces of baby clothing to stock the NICU donation closet, $750 in Walmart gift cards to help parents and caregivers with newborn essentials and gas, and $2,000 in restaurant gift cards to ease the daily burden of meals during long hospital stays.
We also provided some treats for the incredible nurses, doctors, and staff who care so deeply for these babies
And new this year, we were honored to donate $1,000 to the newly opened Ronald McDonald House located right next to the NICU. The Ronald McDonald House provides housing, laundry facilities, a full kitchen, nightly meals, play areas, and so much more for families with babies in the NICU and children in the hospital.
The impact you’ve made is truly meaningful.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to our community, family, and friends for making this possible.
Please continue to keep these precious miracle babies and their families in your prayers.
