A few weeks ago, I was at a birthday party with roughly 30 shrieking six-year-olds—yes, my ears are still ringing—and a whoooooole bunch of moms I did not know. “Oh, thanks!” I replied, “Um … I think it’s just my makeup?”

Flush Balm: my love for this blush knows no bounds. What I specifically love is that I’ve tried 5 different shades at this point and all 5 have worked well with my skin tone. When Merit says they make “impossible to mess up beauty products”—they’re not wrong. If I had to pick a favorite though, it’s a toss-up between Persimmon and Lusitano.
Clean Lash: This light, barely-there tubing mascara goes on and off like a dream. Doesn’t flake, streak, or smudge, lasts all day, and washes off so easily.
