“You sound like you just want to show your tits around to everyone.”
He’d trolled my comment and thought it would get under my skin, along with the slew of other men’s comments in the threads about reverse sexism, a few coming at me attempting to have their say about mine [insert rolling eyes]. Of course, if anything, I was amused and so, I responded,
“hey nothing wrong with it. Men show their tits and frankly, most of ya have bigger / floppier boobs than me. 😂😂”
The post in question, was on a travel a blog on social media about a new law explaining there would be a monetary fine for shirtlessness in public squares and restaurants due to health and safety concerns.
That’s fair, especially in this excessive heat wave. Undoubtedly, though, it’s going to affect more men than women (this time). Women are required to be covered in public, at the very least, with a bikini top.
Still, Europe is lined with topless beaches. And damn I love it! Free the tits! I say.
I have an affinity for toplessness in my own spaces anyway, I gave up the annoying bra long ago, have stretch marks from a younger time. I mean really, who has energy for a shirt? The point is, at the beach, shame takes a back seat. Honestly, there are many days I only need an hour, to slip into the sea, swim laps for a while, let the sun dry me off and I’m on my way.
I often scan for the elder women, they’re typically the ones sitting topless, coming up out of the water, reading a book, not bothering anyone or with a friend and chatting about a day in the life.
Many youngers still put on a fashion-show. Nothing wrong with that, and I’ve done it too (stylin is wildin’). But hey, it’s nice to strip to bikini bottoms and not bother or be bothered.
And let’s be honest, how many men do I see, on the regular in nothing but a teeny-tiny speedo with man boobs bigger than mine?
Generally, on these beaches, the body is a body, and nipples aren’t considered shameful. I’m less likely to get any lurkers or weirdos approaching me (they’d get an earful). And most Europeans have body and sex education, all through various levels of schooling, so ~ moving on?
And yet, for women, toplessness is limited to the beach. For the Gents, its wild sweat shine over pizza, ten blocks away from the sea.
Don’t get me wrong, a nice dry T— and shorts after sun and salt bathing is soft landing on the way to a gelato shop.
But~
