Hell yes!

So a tiny bit of news. I am taking over as the new writer on SPAWN and KING SPAWN starting this spring!

Huge thanks to Todd McFarlane for trusting me with the keys. And huge thanks to Thomas Healy for helping steer the ship.

I am going to be talking about it a lot more soon but I just wanted to start by saying what an honor this is. Everything Todd built with Spawn and Image is my template for what an indie comics can and should be. I’m excited to be joined by my old WILDC.A.T.S. partner Stephen Segovia on SPAWN and my new partner Thomas Nachlik on KING SPAWN. We’re taking Spawn places he’s never been. Our goal is to make books that people who have never read Spawn can pick up and fall in love with, while still being true to what the long time fans have loved these past 30+ years. It’s going to be wild.
