You are likely highly sensitive, intuitively led and open hearted.

You are the reason I started this substack.

Your ideas and goals.

Your dream life, waiting for you.

I love to collaborate with other artists.

Collaboration and connection are my highest values.

It has gotten me into trouble, especially when other artists don’t share my same values. That’s a story for another day. I am strengthening my belief that there is more than enough for all of us.

Sometimes I don’t have enough work. Sometimes I get more work than I can handle. I am happy to give work away for the following reasons:

• I am too busy

• The request is not in my art style

• The project doesn’t challenge me or won’t serve my growth.

• The project doesn’t light me up

• I know I’m not the best person for the project (I genuinely care about the outcome just as much as the client)

• When it doesn’t meet my minimum income requirement (which has grown over time).

I like to connect people who value art with those who care about creating it, take pride in their work and genuinely care about helping people.

I’ve given several opportunities to artists.

In the past year I’ve recommended or referred other artists to clients for illustrations, patterns, photos, even a mural.
