Even in the middle of summer, Demeter reminds us that every season has its own work. Together we’ll explore the sanctuary of Eleusis through my own on site photographs and video, walking through one of the most important sacred landscapes of the ancient world while examining its archaeology, ritual life, and the Eleusinian Mysteries. It’s a chance to see the site in context and gain a deeper understanding of the goddess before the autumn season and the traditional time of the Mysteries arrives.
