I Changed the Plan for This Tuesday Special

I actually had a completely different series scheduled for this week’s Tuesday Special.

Then I looked at The Last Safe County.

Three books are already out. Book Four, Watch on the Ridge, is coming soon. And somehow, despite this being my newest complete series arc, I’ve never featured it in a Tuesday Special.

So I changed the plan.

What I love about this series is that it lives in a slightly different corner of the post-apocalyptic world.

The collapse happened years ago. People have already learned how to survive.

Now the harder question is:

What are they going to build out of what’s left?

There are guarded communities, dangerous roads, missing family members, strangers who may or may not be worth trusting, and people trying to decide whether survival alone is enough.

At the center of it all are ordinary people doing their best to protect the little pieces of home they’ve managed to rebuild.

That’s really what The Last Safe County is about.

Not just surviving the end of the world.

Finding somewhere—and someone—worth coming home to afterward.

And if you’re already caught up through Book Three, you won’t have long to wait.
