You are always just you and there are no separate bits and pieces of you somewhere else, no matter what the purveyors of fictional entities say, peddling purely imaginary mental constructs like ego, unconscious mind, shadow, inner child or lower and higher self, to the detriment of themselves and everybody else who believes them.
P.S. Believing in a non-existent unconscious simply reveals the not knowing about how the mind and our memory fundamentally works or who we really are.
