Greetings everyone,

As we say goodbye to October and hello to November, we find ourselves at a unique crossroads, where Halloween and All Saints' Day invite us to reflect on transitions, both in life and the changing seasons.

🌑 Embracing Life Transitions ☆⋆。𖦹°‧★

This time of year, Halloween has rich themes of transformation, we are also greeted with a new moon in Scorpio. The seasons are reminding us of the beauty and depth of life’s cycles. Halloween & All Saints’ Day encourages us to honor the veil between worlds, a gentle nudge to remember those we've loved and lost, and to embrace the changes we’ve faced. The new moon in Scorpio invites us to delve deep into our souls, encouraging introspection and renewal.

Let us take this sacred opportunity to release what no longer serves us, embrace new beginnings with open hearts, and set intentions that align with our true desires. This is your moment to plant seeds of passion and purpose, to guide you toward profound personal growth and evolution. As the days grow shorter and the nights longer, may you find peace in our shared human experience and the strength to lean into community. Together, let’s nurture our spirits and support one another through these transitions, celebrating the journey of becoming.

🍃 Therapeutic Horticulture Update ☆⋆。𖦹°‧★

I’m thrilled to share that I’ve completed the second in person class with my Therapeutic Horticulture certificate! As part of our October program, we learned about adaptive tools that can be incorporated into our teachings. Having a diverse range of tools can enhance accessibility by catering to different needs and preferences of individuals. In order to develop effective therapeutic horticulture programs it is essential that participants feel confident and having adaptive devices can help people engage more effectively. We are also focused on the importance of S.M.A.R.T short term and long goal planning to ensure that our initiatives meet the needs of our participants. Check out this video to see what tools we talked about and what site we visited!
