Reflections on Black Fae Day

*Apologies for the double email—my full post didn’t save

This year’s Black Fae Day we had a true vision embedded in the theme of Realms and Factions. We had multiple universes happening at once and it felt really nice to make that vision come into reality.

Our treasure map led the curious through our immersive universe.

The Transformation Station is where fae-folk could embody their inner-fae with free fairy ears, gemstones, and purchase wings if they so desired.

Lavendula Meadow awaited their arrival to create their own fairy wand

Some then decided to flutter to Cloudwhisper Hollow

where they played, laughed, and took fairy-cute photos

the adventure didn’t stop, oh no, Sunplay Field is where the joy came alive

Mermaid Mya was swimming by and stopped by to visit in Mermaid Grotto

lastly, the market of vendors selling goodies in Mystic Cove

We are fairy grateful for those who came and spent some time with us, and we can’t wait to do it again next year.

Thanks to the team [Dena, Gabe, Lucy, Beverly, Serenity Urban Wellness, DJ Whathedo, photographer Kev Moye, our vendors and of course the folks who came out] for bringing this vision into reality!

What’s also cool to see if that there was another Black Fae Day event held in downtown Little Rock by the Mystic Blerds on May 9th. My niece and I were able to attend, visit with the vendors, and learn about the Arkansas Renfair!

The space for fairies is growing here in Little Rock, talk fairy soon!
