Experts Disagree. And They Should - This Stuff Isn't Easy To Interpret!!

Here’s the headline from the University of Arizona, published in the past hour.

Let’s see what the experts at the Maricopa County Flood District have to say.

Here in the West Valley you may have noticed a few puffers building in the sky. This was right above my house a few minutes ago.

We can even see this little beauty on the satellite image.

More important? Stuff is already building to the northeast along the rim.

The HRRR future radar shows storms blowing up then dying as they hit the Valley around dinner time … then it shows scattered showers developing in the Phoenix area near or after bedtime. There are some hints of showers toward sunrise Sunday. There are also hints of a dusty outflow boundary and/or haboob this evening.

Looks like maybe we’ll have to study both the skies and conflicting data this afternoon into the evening. Gear up and get ready!
