Two years after we first met in summer 2024, my husband and I are still very much in love. We kiss like teenagers on the Tube, making other Londoners barf. We go on weekly romantic date nights — we just finished the A-Z of Dating and we’re now moving onto the 0-100, hoping to find a restaurant for each number. I love Ad more than I have ever loved anyone who isn’t my daughter.
But lest you all be sickened by our smug picture perfectness, living in our beautiful house, parenting our amazing kids and being all loved up, I must tell you one thing.
Relationships aren’t always easy. Hell, even Helena Bonham Carter and Tim Burton split up, and they had loads of money and lived in adjoining houses, so Helena didn’t have to pick Tim’s straggly pubes off the loo seat.
Everyone has at least one flaw, and my husband is no exception.
I don’t mind him leaving curly pubes around the place. I don’t mind his numerous grey beard hairs littering the sink. There’s only one thing I’d like him to change…
