Welcome to the first edition of Public Testnet Weekly, where we share news and updates related to Arcium’s testnet. Each week, we’ll cover both developer and community-related highlights so you can easily follow Arcium’s progress.
We are officially two weeks into public testnet! Key highlights from the past week include:

Arcium supporting Superteam’s Builder Mansion in Paris from June 7–28
We launched the first application on testnet with the Dark Pool Demo. With significant implications DeFi, dark pools offer a new venue for executing trades privately.

This week, we announced our community plan for public testnet. Arcium’s public testnet is not incentivized, and there will be no airdrop. Instead, we aim to identify builders and community members who are providing real value.
Through Encrypted Credits and Retractive Token Grants (RTGs), we’ve created a robust system to support and reward genuine contributors while minimizing opportunistic behavior.

Our ecosystem engineer hosted the first testnet workshop on Discord, walking builders through our developer documentation and helping them get started with Arcium tooling.
The recording will be made available for those who missed it, and more workshops are planned. Join our Discord to start building.
Following the release of the Dark Pool Demo, the Arcium Network experienced its first public stress test. The initial launch went smoothly, but as demand increased, some nodes crashed, leading to indefinite order processing for some users.
We’ve made various improvements across the Arcium stack, including updates to Arx nodes to optimize error handling. Key changes include:
