Joel Siaosi Uili · The Career Archetypes

Since 2024 each of our articles and essays have focused on a different element of the vocation, but starting on May 1st, we are experimenting with changing that to ensure we can provide greater depth to the topics we cover. This will allow our readers to go deeper than a single article has previously offered.

While we will be exploring one topic, we will be using it as an over-arching theme as we take time to look at this topic from many vantage points. Think of it like a small course of 8 articles and lessons!

Paid subscribers will receive 8 posts over the eight week period:

  • Path Studies members will be receiving the in-depth lessons and guides written specifically for those further in their paths, and seeking to master their vocation.

  • They will also receive articles on societal issues and real-world problems around the subject.

Free subscribers will receive 4 posts over the eight week period:

  • We will be sharing this 8-week topic with our free Substack and Instagram, where we’ll be discussing societal issues and real-world problems around the subject.

Every 8 weeks we are going to be taking our readers into the deeper terrain of a particular of domain of ‘Vocation’—and this chapter will be Modern Craftsmanship.

Craftsmanship has suffered over the past 150 years; however, we can revive it and make it strong once more.

Soon we will be sending out our very first lesson to paid subscribers—a manifesto on craftsmanship, as the world needs craftsmanship more than it ever has before, with a set of reminders of why.

Paid subscribers will automatically receive this lesson. If you are free subscriber, you will not receive this lesson. However if you’d like to, simply upgrade your subscription.

Looking forward to wading into “Modern Craftsmanship” with you over the next eight weeks.
