Somewhat recently, the following thought crossed my mind:
Real alignment is experiencing contentment and joy right where you are, regardless of the circumstances…
What does experiencing joy and contentment at this moment look like for you?
I've always been deeply interested in the concept of inner harmony. Enoughness. Wholeness. I've also been deeply interested in dreams—ever since childhood.
Maybe you're familiar with the archetypes test I designed for INFPs. Or maybe not. But either way, when I describe myself as a Wandering Explorer, you'll probably get what I'm talking about. Like…I wrote the book on how I Want to Do All the Things, after all.
I still want to do all the things. But for the first time in my life, I’m no longer truly a wanderer.
I explore this more in my latest blog post, From Seeking to Surrender – A Journey of Self-Integration.
I hope this post gives you a vibrant picture of what the path to inner balance and enoughness could look like through the mysterious logic of nocturnal dreams.
Inner harmony is a song.
And a dance.
And for me it's knowing that I have both the space to feel grounded and space to explore. It's not about wandering, but knowing what's already here.
Like a lot of people, I'm working with the reality of having tight finances. Being in this space forces me to look at what's currently available to me in different ways and make the most of overlooked resources.
But through it all, I want to own this moment.
In my second newest post, Making My Lifestyle Feel Like a Choice, I explore what long term minimalism could look like for me.
I hope my rambling thoughts create some inspiration for how you can make where you are right now feel more intentional—and less like an emergency response.
There have been some notable changes around here over the past nine months or so, and at its core, it's been all about owning the reality of my experience.
This deep acceptance of what truly is for me has resulted in me expanding my creative identity from being just a productivity writer, to being an intuitive writer and artist, which is really…more honest.
I still care about routines, but at the end of the day, I travel by starlight. Regardless of all of the goals and plans I can draw up and create, my intuition is truly my secret sauce.
What experiences in your life are you feeling ready to own right now? Pull them in close and give them a hug.
They were waiting for you.
Best wishes,

(By the way, I am still adding my ideas and other things to The Starlight Library before they land on my blog—at my own pace. Feel free to explore.)
