The Arbitrum STIP is a one-time initiative to distribute 50 million ARB tokens to support active Arbitrum protocols based on community voting. Blaze AI has created a report on the impact this initiative has had on the Arbitrum ecosystem.
Eth Denver is around the corner, and with it, members of the Arbitrum DAO have built Arbitrum Gov Hack, an event that will take place from February 26th to 29th, allowing web3 contributors to contribute to the future of the DAO for 3 days.
Not just technical skills are required; any contributor can participate. You can participate online, as long as at least one of the participants is present at the event.
This collaboration round is the first time quadratic funding is being leveraged to co-fund a national Ethereum event. The ETH Bucharest Conference and Hackathon is a four-day event scheduled to take place from March 27th to March 30th, 2024, in Bucharest, Romania.
The Pitch Session for applicants to the Arbitrum Research and Development Collective has been conducted, with strong profiles being put forward. It is now time to analyze them and be prepared for the voting that will take place during the first week of March.

The Arbitrum Grants Program operated through the Delegated Domain Allocation model by Questbook has already allocated $912k to over 60 proposals. For its continuation, it proposes a $4,000,000 budget to support domains such as Gaming and Dev Tooling, aiming to enhance operational efficiency and transparency through measures like audits for Solidity code and on-chain grant disbursement.
The discussion delves into how Arbitrum's initiatives, such as the Gaming Catalyst Program, could transform Web3 gaming by focusing on digital asset ownership, interoperability, and user-generated content, despite concerns regarding economic feasibility and potential exploitation.
The pilot program is for protocols that did not receive ARB during STIP or the Backfund.
However, protocols that received grants from the Arbitrum Foundation, Questbook’s grant program, or any other Arbitrum Grants program are eligible to receive Pilot Program funding.
Additionally, receiving funding from the Pilot Program does not prevent protocols from applying for funding from other DAO or foundation programs, including the Long Term Incentives Program.
This Wednesday, February 21st, there will be a call between the SeedLATAM team and Karma to review the dashboard that will allow the Delegates' Incentives program to display the monthly results of the top participants.
This week, the ArbitrumDAO will be granting 2,500 ARB to each of the top four projects, totaling 10,000 ARB distributed in this round.

Description:
This initiative aims to utilize Arbitrum's treasury to nurture ventures in the Collab Tech vertical, encompassing governance, operations, growth, community, and contributor tooling. The RnDAO approach includes a builders' pipeline program run through a pilot grant to RnDAO via Plurality Labs, consisting of a Research Fellowship and a Venture Programme, aimed at quickly validating the viability of ventures at a low cost.
Status:
The initiative seeks funding from ArbitrumDAO for the next development phase, following the initial pilot that funded six seats in the Fellowship program and one seat in the Venture Programme.
Description:
This proposal aims to continue the development of a pluralistic grants framework for the Arbitrum DAO. This initiative is focused on decentralizing grant decision-making, scaling valuable grants allocations, and fostering the growth of the Arbitrum ecosystem. Milestone 1A involved deploying funds through various grants programs and experiments in collective decision-making. Milestone 1B, or 1B(ridge), seeks to build upon the successes and learnings from Milestone 1A, addressing shortcomings and leveraging better technology and strategies for scaling. The budget remains the same as the first milestone, with a focus on ecosystem development and service fees.
Status:
The proposal is currently in the feedback phase from delegates to proceed with the natural governance process.

AIP: ArbOS 20 “Atlas” - Arbitrum Support for Dencun + Batch Poster Improvements (on-chain)
This AIP proposes a number of improvements to Arbitrum chains, including the capability to leverage EIP 4844 to post batches of L2 transactions as Blobs on L1 Ethereum at a cheaper price. The proposal also includes support for most of the changes included in Ethereum's Dencun upgrade and 2 improvements to batch posting for Arbitrum One and Nova.
Changes to the Constitution and the Security Council Election Process (on-chain)
This AIP aims to improve the election process ensuring that candidates are not overlooked during the nominee selection stage and that candidates stand an equal chance of being nominated to the following stage of the election process, irrespective of when in the registration period they express their interest.
