Recently, I released a podcast episode featuring Dakota and Steve Coy, a husband and wife co-founders that are artists that moved to Michigan back in 2008. I met them at Newlab in downtown Detroit.
As artists, they found it difficult for artists to get their work shown in galleries in Michigan. They decided to create a platform that can connect artists to art galleries - hence ArtClvb - an online platform that connects art buyers to artists. It allows direct connections. They started in 2022 and three years later they have made some great strides since they built the app.
ArtClvb is a specialized Market Network created for the art world, combining social networking and marketplace features. With ArtClvb, artists, collectors, curators, galleries, and individuals involved in the art ecosystem can create profiles to showcase artworks they’ve collected, curated, or created while also fostering meaningful connections.
