• Starting Point Community Church with Pastor Marvin Del Rios

  • Pray for some construction projects at the church - their education building has a leak on the roof and needs to be repaired which is costly.

  • Pray for them as they are wrapping up quite a bit of summer outreach and beginning the follow-up with families/individuals that they’ve met and had gospel conversations with.

  • Pray for some of their migrant families that are active and that attend their church, many of them have their immigration court hearing in the fall/winter and there’s just a lot of uncertainty and fear still being felt - pray that they receive a good outcome.

• Vietnamese Baptist Church of Chicago with Pastor Vinh Au

  • After the Covid19 pandemic, their church membership dropped by 40 percent because many people moved to other states. Please pray for the remaining believers in the church to be strong and mature in faith, especially for mission to youths.

  • Pray for their church in evangelizing the Vietnamese people in the city and state, and also in contributing to evangelizing the world and for Vietnam (their church has been the sending-church of Vietnamese Community of Montgomery Church since 2023).

  • Pray for Pastor Sam Johnson who is in charge of the youth group; Vinh Au, pastor in charge of VBCC, and for their deacons and executive board.
