Christina Cacioppo is the CEO and co-founder of Vanta, the leading Agentic Trust Platform backed by Sequoia Capital, Craft Ventures, Y Combinator, J.P. Morgan and Goldman Sachs. Christina founded Vanta in 2018 after experiencing firsthand the manual and time consuming process of getting SOC 2 during her time leading Dropbox Paper.

Prior to founding Vanta, Christina led product management for Dropbox Paper and was a member of the investment team for Union Square Ventures. Chief Revenue Officer
Stevie oversees Vanta’s go-to-market team to support the company’s rapid growth. Stevie brings over 15 years of sales and business development experience to the new role, most recently serving as Vice President of Mid-Market Sales at Twilio, a market-leading cloud communications platform.
Joining as one of their first account executives, Stevie played a pivotal role in establishing Twilio’s enterprise business with key Fortune 500 customers, generating more than $400 million in annual recurring revenue. She helped to grow the sales team from a dozen to over 1,000 team members. Stevie also supports startups, serving as an angel investor and advisor for the past decade.
Sarah Scharf
Chief Marketing Officer
Sarah Scharf is Vanta's Chief Marketing Officer, leading Vanta's efforts to expand global awareness of its market-leading Agentic Trust Platform.
Sarah joined Vanta in 2020 as the company's first product marketer and has since led every function of the marketing organization, including Product Marketing, Brand and Communications, and Revenue Marketing, before being named CMO. During her tenure, Sarah named and built out Vanta's original category, Trust Management, and drove the company’s most successful marketing campaigns across all distribution channels. Prior to Vanta, Sarah spent seven years at Google in product marketing roles across Privacy and Security, Next Billion Users, and Android, including leading the platform's global rebrand. Sarah has a B.A. from Stanford University.
Jeremy Epling
Chief Product Officer
Jeremy Epling is Vanta’s Chief Product Officer overseeing engineering, product and design. Bringing over two decades of building to Vanta, Jeremy joins Vanta from GitHub where he was VP, Product for Actions, Codespaces, npm, Packages, leading all things Code to Cloud. During his tenure, Jeremy more than quadrupled the engineering, product and design teams, as GitHub Actions scaled from zero to millions of global developers. He also led GitHub Codespaces, GitHub Packages, and npm, delivering security features such as supply chain security, improving and requiring MFA, and new provenance capabilities for npm.
Prior to GitHub, Jeremy spent over 16 years at Microsoft, last serving as Principal Group Product Manager for Azure, empowering developers to continuously build, test, and deploy to any platform or cloud. He studied Computer Science at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
John McCauley
Chief Financial Officer
John McCauley is Vanta’s Chief Financial Officer, overseeing finance and accounting. With over 20 years of experience, John was most recently at Calendly, where he served as CFO and then COO, helping expand the business to more than 20 million users across 230+ countries. Prior to Calendly, John was CFO at Seismic, helping grow annual revenue from approximately $100 million to $300 million.
Earlier in his career, John was in finance leadership at ServiceNow and helped support the company’s growth through its IPO. He studied Accountancy at the University of San Diego, earned his Master of Accountancy from San Diego State University, and is an inactive CPA.
