    Lifeslide is a paper plane flight simulator game, that combined a zen aesthetic with challenging gameplay.

  • Online Medical Imaging Viewer

    -

    The Online Medical Imaging Viewer is an online educational and medical imaging tool I developed for Ivalalearn. The entire project is done completely in Unity, works in Webgl 2.0 and can be used in the browser. The OMIV is capable of most features of regular desktop medical imaging viewers, including regular volumetric rendering and MIP(Maximum Intensity Projection). The viewer support import from both DICOM and NIFTI data.

  • Rise Of Industry

    Rise of Industry is a strategic tycoon game that puts you in the shoes of an early 20-century industrialist. The gameplay builds on top of concepts introduced in games like
    Capitalism, Industry Giant and OpenTTD. It was released on steam to very positive reviews.
    The game was developed using Unity 3D engine, the complexity and performance of the game required using concepts like compute shaders and the Unity Job system.

  • Symmetry Improved Photon Maps

    This thesis proposes a novel approach towards tackling the
    global illumination problem. The basic idea is to improve the quality of photon maps by reusing lighting from different parts of the scene, but also to show that reuse is a viable strategy for improving global illumination in general.

    This thesis proposes a novel approach towards tackling the
    global illumination problem. The basic idea is to improve the quality of photon maps by reusing lighting from different parts of the scene, but also to show that reuse is a viable strategy for improving global illumination in general.
    The scene is separated into symmetrical segments and parts of the scene, that share similar radiance are identified. By using the symmetrical relationships between the segments, these areas are then filtered with a version of the non-local means filter that works on photon maps. Depending on the input quality of the photon map, the project managed to improve the quality of the density estimation render significantly.

    I helped out with porting Terraria to mobile devices. The mobile port was developed in C++ using the a custom engine.
