I led a project team of five consultants to understand to Minds Matter San Francisco's key opportunities to serve more high-potential, low-income youth in San Francisco. Our team took a holistic approach, considering what would need to be changed in both MMSF's mentorship model and back-end supporting functions (e.g. fundraising, mentee recruiting, volunteer culture, etc.) to support growth. As a result of the project, MMSF is currently in the process of making fundamental changes to its board engagement strategy, mentee recruiting strategy, staff hiring decisions, and mentorship model that will enable MMSF to scale in the long term.

  • Pro-bono project with Boys and Girls Club of San Francisco

Our team developed a comprehensive support model that addresses the unique academic, social, emotional, and financial challenges that low-income, first-generation students face during college.
