“If I had to put a team of engineers together, and I had to make sure that they were going to do their work on time, have good documentation for future engineers, and that they would be able to accomplish their task with as little friction as possible, I would hire Drew and make him their squad lead. I must admit, during my time at Spreetail, there were several instances where I would mention Drew's name when talking about positions above his actual title. This wasn't a mental slip or anything, it's just that Drew exudes leadership and maturity to a level that it is just easy to assume that he is in a role 2-3 years ahead of his experience. Nobody had as many connections within the company as Drew. If anybody on our team required any sort of knowledge about any obscure area of our operations, Drew would be the first person to be contacted. Drew's passion doesn't stop at work, he is always working on some side project, always keeping abreast of the latest happenings in the industry, writing blog posts, AND fathering the cutest puppy I've ever seen. I will miss being around Drew, but I am happy knowing that he is adding endless value no matter where he is.”
