A couple weeks ago, the Sports Reference team traveled to Cleveland for SABR 54! From big presentations to Baseball Reference shoutouts, here are our favorite moments from the convention: 🏆 Adam Darowski's poster, "The Road to 400 Wins Runs Through Cleveland," earned an honorable mention! It highlighted the 16 pitchers who have reached 400 career wins across professional leagues worldwide. ⚾️ We had a great time connecting with the fans and experts who use Baseball Reference every day – including Sandy Alomar Jr. and Carlos Baerga, who check the stats to prepare for games. 📋 We enjoyed sitting in on sessions that covered everything from the trade deadline to pitch-tracking projects. Thanks to Society for American Baseball Research (SABR) for having us. See you at the next one! 💛 📷 Chris Gehring #SABR54 #Baseball
