Why Open Science Hardware? What made Cecilia Herbert personally care about Open Science Hardware? For her, it started with a simple realization: she could do it too. You do not need to be an engineer to start experimenting with tools like a 3D printer. 🙌 📽️ https://lnkd.in/dcraj9YN [Video in English (subtítulos y traducción automática disponible)] #OpenScience #OpenScienceHardware #OpenHardware #OpenSource #Research

👉 Microfluidics in LATAM: Research Applications [EN] During our Microfluidics for Bioimaging workshop, Dr. Ramiro Rodriguez head of the Cell Biology of Plant Development Laboratory at the Instituto de Biología Molecular y Celular de Rosario (IBR-CONICET-UNR), Argentina, implemented Librehub´s microfluidic platform for live confocal imaging of Arabidopsis roots. The system enables precise environmental perturbations-such as hormone or osmotic treatments- while imaging, opening new possibilities for studying plant responses to changing conditions in real time. Ramiro says it was really exciting to see the technology quickly adopted and applied to ongoing research in plant developmental biology.
