EuroPython 2026 Kraków. The European Python Conference - by the community & for the community.
About us
For over 20 years, Python, renowned for its simplicity, reliability and flexibility, has become a leading programming language both in the industry and in research. And what better place than EuroPython to keep your finger on the pulse of anything Python related? EuroPython was the first major Python community conference ever organised by volunteers. It started in 2002 in Charleroi, Belgium. It has become the largest European Python conference, and one of the largest world-wide. With around 1200+ participants every year, EuroPython is a hub for all programmers, students and companies interested in the Python programming language.

Many thanks to everyone who joined us in Kraków in July to celebrate the 25th anniversary of EuroPython. What fun it was! EuroPython is a space for people to come together, share knowledge and experience, make new friends, and find new Python inspiration. We'd like to thank all of the organizing teams which came before, all on-site volunteers, speakers, tutorial & sprint leads, sponsors, and all attendees as well as folks who created the EuroPython Society to take care of us all. Here's to another quarter of a century together! 🐍

EuroPython 2026 was an experience I had been looking forward to for months — and it was even more inspiring than I imagined🫠 A week filled with Python, technology, learning, open source, and people from all over the world. I had the opportunity to attend talks and sessions covering topics from modern Python and backend development to AI, software architecture, developer tools, and open-source technologies💚🐍 But a conference is not only about presentations and technical sessions. It is also about the conversations between them — meeting developers from different backgrounds, sharing experiences, discussing ideas, asking questions, and discovering new perspectives. One of my biggest takeaways from EuroPython is that learning becomes even more valuable when you share it with a community🤍 Here is a small glimpse of my EuroPython 2026 experience🎥 Grateful for the experience. Inspired by the community. Motivated to keep building and learning. 🚀 #EuroPython #EuroPython2026 #Python #SoftwareEngineering #BackendDevelopment #OpenSource #TechCommunity #ContinuousLearning

Coming back from EuroPython, I have a lot to miss. It was just 3 days and it come by so fast. I enjoyed Sebastian Burzyński talk about "Hidden cost of Vibe Coding" and was retelling it to my collegues as a cautionary tale. I miss friendly energy of PyLadies community. Jarosłav Śmietanka talking about how boring code might be better than complex, 🇺🇦🇪🇺🇨🇿 Sviatoslav Sydorenko 💶👾💻 sharing how hard it to distinguish a future open source contributor among faceless AI agents. All drawings are my own!
