Suomen Latu Kiilopää’s cabins provide the perfect setting for an active nature holiday amidst the landscapes of Urho Kekkonen National Park.
Cabin Atmosphere Close to a Variety of Services and Trails of National Park
All Kiilopää cabins have their own sauna and a drying cabinet for equipment, ensuring you can start your daily adventures with dry gear.
The Wilderness cabins are slightly smaller traditional cottages with a kitchenette and bunk beds for four people in the living area. The log cabins have a bedroom with two beds, a living room with a fireplace, and a sofa bed that can provide extra sleeping space for up to two more people.
The cabins are located 120 to 500 meters from the main building of Suomen Latu Kiilopää, making the restaurant services easily accessible. Pets are allowed in the Wilderness cabins and some of the log cabins for an additional fee.
Wilderness Cabins
The Wilderness cabins are cozy cabins with a kitchenette and bunk beds for four people in the living area. Each Wilderness cabin is 30 square meters, and there are a total of 8 cabins. Pets are allowed in these cabins for an additional fee (10 € / pet / night or 50 € /pet / week).

Log Cabins
The log cabins at Suomen Latu Kiilopää can accommodate up to four people. The bedroom has beds for two, and the living area has a sofa bed. Each cabin is 44 square meters and they are semi-detached, so you can book adjacent cabins for larger groups.
The log cabins are excellently suited for remote work, as all of them have a Wi-Fi connection
All the cabins are located in the distance of 300 – 500 meter from the services of main building. Two of the log cabins are pet friendly, please ask the availability from reception.

Cabins bookable during October
To stay in the armpit of the National Park! In Kiilopää’s wilderness and log cabins, you can stay at a time that suits you, even outside the seasons. You get to go hiking in Urho Kekkonen National Park, even though the peak season is already behind and you still stay in cozy cabins.
The self-catering cabins can only be booked between from 4th of the October to 7th of the November 2026. When booking, please note that Kiilopää’s other services are not open except self-service bicycle rental.
