My name is Dr Benjamin Blundell and I'm a Senior Software Engineer at Bright Ascension in Dundee, Scotland!

I previously worked at the Sea Mammal Research Unit (SMRU)🦭 at the Scottish Oceans Institute, 🐋 at the University of St Andrews 🐳

Before that, I was a PhD Student at King's College London 🎓 within the London Interdisciplinary Doctoral (LIDo) Bioscience Programme.

I'm a software engineer and scientist working in Space, AI, computer vision and the biosciences

I'm a computer scientist by education, a Research Software Engineer by profession and theres a bit of bioscience in there too. I started my PhD training with the London Interdisciplinary Doctoral (LIDo) Programme, with King's College London. I was formally part of the ch'ng group at the IoPPN, and the Cox group in Randall Centre for Cell & Molecular Biophysics.
